Day 1Arrival In Quito-Ecuador From International Flight

Arrival in Quito – Transfer In to Hotel. Overnight (B.-,-).

Day 2Quito City Tour – Mitad Del Mundo – Mindo

Early departure to enjoy comprehensive city tour includes visits to the Basilica Church, Walking through the colonial streets, we will then stop at the Independence Plaza admiring the Cathedral, the Government’s Palace, and the archiepiscopal palace Then we will head to the “Panecillo Mirador” a beautiful place, from where a sight of colonial and modern Quito will be taken.
Later visit to the world famous Equator, “Mitad del Mundo” which is located only 30 minutes from Quito. Here you will have the opportunity to jump from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere. In the 18th century the French Geodesic Expedition arrived here to perform important researches and investigate the Earth’s actual form. A monument visit and the interesting visit to the Intiñan Museum will be possible. The main objective of the museum is to rescue a new image of the existence of a geographical center of the ancient worldview. It is located a few meters from the official monument of the Middle of the World. The Solar Museum Intiñan is crossed by a red line where the owners claim it is the real center of the world. Although it is difficult for the GPS signal to work here because of the mountains that surround this point, one can confirm that it is very close to the coordinate 00 °. This is an ideal place to visit near an equinox in March or September, when the sun’s rays fall perpendicular to the earth and therefore there is no shadow.
Then continue your journey to Mindo, where you will arrive towards late noon. You will stay a little outside the village. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to take a hike through this unique landscape. The Cloud Forest is a paradise for bird lovers, as it is very easy to observe different types of hummingbirds, as well as tanga, herons, woodpeckers and hawks. Overnight (B, -,-).

Day 3Mindo Tulipe Otavalo

Visit a Butterfly house and an orchid farm. Learn more about the different types of orchids and see the development process of the butterflies. Halfway to Quito, make a stop at the Tulipe Museum, which will bring you closer to the culture of Yumbo. The Yumbos have created deep, almost subterranean paths in the forest floo r, which they used to bring salt and Spondylusmuscheln from the coast to the Highlands and to trade here. The path of the museum takes you through a beautiful landscape and ends with the ceremonial baths, of which you will still find the remains. Continue on the pan-north to the province of Imbabura Overnight Molino San Juan. (B, -,-).

Day 4Otavalo – Karanqui Community

Visit to the famous Otavalo Market There you will find a colourful Indian market that for many years is performed in the “Plaza del Poncho.” Place to take wonderful pictures and admire Otavalo Indians in their typical clothing, and also purchase leather products, woven products, rugs, “shigras” (colorful straw or linen woven bags), as well as hand-carved wood products. Visit to the vegetable market.
Later visit to the San Clemente community, where you will have your accommodation in the rural homes of the families who are member of the community, families will show the traveler the authentic way of life of this native people, such as to share the indigenous culture, enjoy their environment, experience their beliefs and take delight in the nearness of nature and tradition, all with the mark of mutual respect. These families will welcome you as friend, and invite you to discover and, identifying all of the plants they cultivate there and learning about the properties, histories and uses of each one. Day 5San Clemente – Activities

After Breakfast participation in activities like traditional agriculture, animal raising, for clients that would like to do some trekking visit to the Cubilche lake, located the the Andean plateau. On return preparation of special food and Participation in the traditions of the community Farewell Dinner is organized to say goodbye to their visitors (B,L,D)

Day 6Visit To Cuicocha And A Roses Farm In Cayambe

After breakfast drive to Cotacachi, which has made a name for its leather production. Not far away is the beautiful lake Cuicocha of the still active volcano Cuicocha.) Trekk ing in the area

In the afternoon visit to a roses plantation, an information of the different products that we produce and export in Ecuador. Drive back to Quito. (B,-,-)

Day 7Santo Domingo De Los Colorados Rafting In Blanco River -Quito

The Toachi and Blanco rivers are a blast for experienced rafters and have proved to be the beginning of a whitewater addiction for thousands of first-timers. Flowing off the coastal side of the Andes they have some of the longest navigable sections of whitewater in the country. Combine this with the sights and sounds of the forest environment we pass through and you are guaranteed a day to remember. After lunch and beer return to Quito for overnight. (B,L,-)

Day 8Canoe Trip Down The Napo River

Flight Quito Cuenca Arrival in Coca city. There you will take a canoe trip down the Napo river. It takes about two hours. During the navigation you will see birds such as herons, kingfishers, terns and other shore birds species and beautiful landscapes. Arriving at Ecolodge Napo Cultural Center
In the afternoon, a short walk down to the banks of the Napo River to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the beaches and islands naturally returns for dinner and rest. (-/BL/D)

Day 9Visit To The Parrot Clay

Breakfast and early departure with the boat to visit an amazing parrot clay lick that with an easy access brings visitors face to face with approximately 11 species of parrots (including parrotlets and macaws)
Later you will visit to the Interpretation Center “Kuri Muyu”. It is handled by the women of the community, here you can learn about the Kichwa culture, crafts, Traditions and traditional use of natural resources directly to people in the community. Return to the lodge for lunch.
Finally you will walk of one hour to climb up the observation tower of 35 meters likely to see a variety of birds, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, toucans, parrots and sloths. Return to the hotel in a motorized canoe, traditional typical dinner. (B/L/D)

Day 10Visit To The Comunity

After breakfast you will visit the community projects. There you can learn about the worldview Kichwa Addition to medicinal and walk in the Mama Cuna road, excellent opportunity to see more wildlife, ceiba trees, strangler, bamboo cane, vines and shrubs endemic from Yasuní. We return for lunch and rest at the lodge. Once at Añangu stream, you will board a small canoe and head down the river in a spectacular adventure through the forest with opportunities to see nightlife alligators and to listen to the sounds of nature at its purest. Return to hotel in motorized canoes, traditional typical dinner. (B/L/D)

Day 11Visit To The Observation Tower

Walk of one hour to climb up the observation tower of 35 meters likely to see a variety of birds, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, toucans, parrots and sloths. Return to the hotel, on this journey you can choose an option to camp, we’ll take care of all the equipment, this is another way of perceiving life ancestral of Pacha Mama and forest nature. (B/L/D)

Day 12Back To Quito

We get up at 4: 30 am to share one of the ancient customs of the Kichwa culture, making wayusa to energize the body listen, to the Kichwa songs and mind and think about important issues in a peaceful and unique way; then we get back for breakfast, before taking a motorized canoe back to the city of Coca Transfer in Quito and international conection.
