After Spanish conquer in the XVI Century, the costumes and traditions of the indigenous people, were replaced by the Spanish people who arrived at American territory, because their believes were quite different. The Spanish people were catholic and through the religious art, used to evangelize indigenous ones, even scarring the people with the possibility of being punished by God. This way, the Spanish people started to build catholic churches, because they were the temple for contacting God, and they forced local people to work hard in order to create them, but unfortunately over the vestiges of the indigenous temples, destroying them.
