Salvador, capital of the State of Bahia, was also Brazil's capital until 1763. It's divided in
two parts. The "Lower City" is at sea level and contains the old port and the commercial area where visitors will find a complete and varied assortment of Brazilian arts and crafts at the Modelo Market. The best place to witness a demonstration of "capoeira", a martial art developed by African slaves in Brazil, a folklore tradition. The "Upper City" can be reached by stone steps, alleyways or the famous Lacerda Elevator. There are old government buildings, residential districts, museums, churches and newer architecture.

DAY 2 – Salvador da Bahia – City Tour

The lower city tour takes us to the quiet waters of the Itapagipe Peninsula where the first
holiday residences were built. Now, a peaceful family district, life moves at a slower pace
than the bustling upper city. Fishermen fish from dug out canoes, locals collect shellfish at low tide. Duration: 3 hrs. Overnight Hotel Tropical da Bahia.
DAY 3 – Salvador da Bahia – Cachoeira incl. Lu
Brazilian Breakfast Buffet. We leave the city behind and drive through the oldest farmland in Brazil. This is the land of sugar cane and tobacco plantations, peaceful colonial towns and busy country markets.
We visit an experimental cacao plantation. We lunch in Cachoeira, a charming colonial town in a beautiful setting on the banks of the Paraguassu River and later taker a walking tour of the town with it's many wood sculptors ateliers, bustling market (Wed, Fri and Sat) and visit the Sisterhood of the Boa Morte, a sorority which traces it's origins back to the time of slavery. Duration: 8 hrs

DAY 4 – Salvador da Bahia – Manaus
Brazilian Breakfast Buffet. In the morning you will have some time free, until the scheduled time for you transfer out to your flight to Manaus.
Manaus, capital of the state of Amazonas , is the largest state in Brazil. It is also the ideal
point of departure for visiting the rest of the Amazon region. Tour boats leave Manaus to
see the Meeting of the Waters, where the black waters of the Negro River meet the light
waters of the Solimoes River, flowing side by side without mixing for several miles. Visitors can also explore river banks and "garapes", swim and canoe in placid lakes or simply walk in the lush forest. The most adventurous may even choose to spend a night or two in the jungle in close contact with nature.
Arrival in Manaus. Meet & Greet with the local guide and afterwards transfer in to your
Hotel. Immediately check in. Overnight Hotel Tropical Manaus.
DAY 5 – Manaus – City Tour and Jungle
Brazilian Breakfast Buffet
Visit to some typical neighborhoods in Manaus with a little stop at the Rio Negro Palace,
where the local Mayor lives and where we can appreciate its architecture. Then, visit to the Indian Museum, where we can see some of the tradition, objects and costumes used by this people. After that, visit to the Teatro Amazonas, the mainly tourist spot in the city.

Depart from Hotel Tropical at 14h00 to the Lodge by boat to the lodge. Arrival at the
Lodge, Accommodation. Diner and Alligator spotting tour.

Check out. Return to Manaus arriving at the hotel Tropical pier at approx. 11h30 and
